In addition to the question, a homework individual or group assignment will be given. If there are enough Learners in the class to have groups of "2", there will be a group project given, This homework group project will consist of the Learners working together to complete a task. This task will be given in detail when the class starts. If there are not enough Learners in class to have groups, an individual homework assignment will be given.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

An assessment will be given in the form of a pass/fail set of questions in the classroom thread in the form of a PDF document. This assessment will consist of: multiple-choice, essay, and question and answer.Grades Offered

The primary source for this class is "Power and Society". This book is a book that I have used in several of my college-level social science courses. This book is overall a great choice for this class. This is a book I am very familiar with. Another reason I have chosen this source for our class is, that it is easy to read and understand. It is a basic overview and uses terms and examples that are easy for high schoolers and college Freshmen to understand. The secondary source for this class is "Sociology A Downhome Approach". This book is one that I use for my college-level introduction to sociology course. This book is more diverse than my primary source. This book is more of an umbrella book for everything sociology. By this I mean, it covers sociological topics but does not go into depth. Required handouts will be uploaded to the classroom before the class session begins. The Learner will be responsible for printing or viewing the handouts for the class. It is not necessary to print for our class. However, you are free to print for yourself anything in our class. There are no outside resources used for this class. Everything will take place in the Classroom Thread.
