Welcome Adventurers! In this semester class, students will explore ten countries around the globe. Each day will take us to a new destination where we learn about the country's geographic location and capital city, flag symbolism, food, animals, landmarks, and resources. The class will involve a slideshow presentation; including 360 tours, videos, and discussions that will keep students engaged throughout the lessons. After each lesson, there will be a review game to assess what students have learned. Students will not need an additional device or need to open an account in order to participate. I will share a link in the chat box for students to join the game directly. Optional worksheets will also be provided for each class. I look forward to meeting you in class!

This class uses blooket for reviewing the lesson after each class. Blooket is a fun gamified learning platform that enables students to review class material by answering questions in a quiz-style format. Students do not need an account or additional device in order to play the game. I will send a direct link to the game where the student clicks and joins the game directly.
Additionally, the class will also utilize google earth to for an interactive exploration if some of the landmarks we learn about. I will also share short video clip contents I have created. Please note that some video content will be from Youtube (where applicable, learners will watch no more than 3 minutes). Content is age appropriate and will be screen shared.
