In this class students will meet and learn with other amazing learners. In this class we will meet once a week. During our time together we will explore the world and understand history. We will learn about the different themes of history, maps, geography, economics, communities, and civics. Each week we will learn a new lesson. Therefore, learners are free to drop out of the class and enrolled, as parents sees fit. This class will be taught using powerpoints and printables(depending on the lesson). Schedule for the class Week of 1 - Early Humans Week of 2 - Mesopotamia Week of 3 - Maps Week of 4 - Continents Week of 5 - Oceans Week of 6 - Communities Week of 7 - Traditions Week of 8 - Traditions Week of 9 - Branches of Government Week of 10 - What are public services? Week of 11 - Citizenship Week of 12 - 7 Elements of Culture Week of 13 - 7 Elements of Culture Week of 14 - Monarchy vs. President Week of 15 - President vs. Dictorship Week of 16 - Goods and services Please note that we will NOT HAVE classes on ALL United States National Holiday. There will be a Fall break and a Spring in our schedule. Schedule is adjustable based on student progress in a class. If I feel that we need to focus on a particular subject more, I will communicate this with parents.

The textbook that will be used is Traditions and Encounters A Brief Global History Volume I and II 4th Edition. Book is NOT need. I will use this book through the class.
