04 apples (about 2 pounds)- for applesauce, softer apples like Golden Delicious, McIntosh and Gala are best but any will work just fine. 2-4 Tbsp. sugar or honey 1/4 cup apple juice or water 2 tsp. cinnamon Recipe provided at registration
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Due to the age of the students, adults will need to assist with putting the apples on the stove and transferring the cooked apples to a bowl to finish the recipe. If the student is unfamiliar with measuring and mashing, adults may need to assist introducing this step.
