In this weekly course, students will learn valuable social skills and life skills (empathy, conflict resolution, study skills) through digitial board games. Students will apply critical thinking skills and build interpersonal skills!

Students will apply critical thinking to life scenarios to apply the appropriate social skills. Students will use good sportsmanship to work effectively in a group setting. Students will apply creativity to respond to diverse life scenarios.
I have a teaching license and have 7 years of experience in education settings. I have a Master's Degree in School Counseling, which equips me to create character education lessons.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will informally assess each student as they verbalize their thoughts and feelings.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The digital board games will be made using google slides. Students will not need to access any apps to play the games. I will be using my own curriculum based on my background in school counseling and education. These classes will be based around cognitive-behavioral techniques and play-based techniques.
