Join anytime throughout the year and immerse yourself in our ongoing class designed for neurodiverse adolescents, where each week brings a new topic, ensuring fresh learning opportunities and the flexibility to join at any point

This ongoing class is specifically designed to support learners who are neurodiverse in improving their social skills through practical, real-life situations. Each class focuses on a specific skill, providing step-by-step instructions, visual aids, and examples to help learners understand what to do or say in different scenarios. The goal is for students to practice these skills repeatedly, with guided support, until they master them. Additionally, they will receive printouts to reinforce what was taught and encourage independent practice.

The class is structured in a way that ensures effective learning. It begins with clear instructions on the new skill, followed by role-playing activities where students can actively apply the skill in a simulated setting. Corrective feedback is provided to help students understand and correct any mistakes. The class also offers ample opportunities for students to practice the skill in real situations, fostering confidence and competence.

A wide range of social skills is addressed during the class conversations, prompted by the teacher. These skills include not being overly strict about rules, respecting personal space, avoiding interrupting others, greetings, active listening during conversations, maintaining and ending conversations appropriately, understanding when to stop talking, joining in play, staying calm, demonstrating empathy for others' feelings, accepting rejection, handling mistakes and teasing, persevering through difficult tasks, compromising, managing fears and triggers, and adapting to change.

This course goes beyond social skills development and delves into other important aspects of personal growth. We understand the significance of setting and achieving life goals, and we provide guidance and support in this area. Through interactive exercises and personalized coaching, you will learn effective goal-setting techniques, action planning strategies, and methods to overcome obstacles that may arise along the way. Whether it's academic achievements, career aspirations, or personal milestones, you will gain the skills and motivation to pursue your dreams and turn them into reality.

Furthermore, we acknowledge that making friends and navigating social situations can be particularly challenging for individuals experiencing social anxiety. Our course addresses these concerns head-on and provides specific strategies and coping mechanisms to manage social anxiety in a supportive and understanding environment. We create a safe space where you can practice and gradually build confidence in social interactions, helping you overcome social anxiety and develop meaningful connections with others.

By participating in this class, learners will develop a stronger understanding and mastery of these social skills. They will gain the tools necessary to navigate social interactions more effectively, leading to improved relationships and increased confidence in various real-life situations.
