In this 5-day course, students will learn to explore their different emotions.
Class experience
In this class, we focus on naming and recognizing emotions, labeling, expressing emotions, and personal difference. Here are some of the emotions that we will be focusing on are: happy, sad, mad, anxious, love, confidence, etc. We will be associating these emotions with colors to help students not only remember them but also relate to them. We will have read-aloud and craft/activities for each emotion we discuss to engage students in class. We will be using Diane Alber's books in our class....
- Students will learn new vocabulary that describes their FEELINGS and EMOTIONS. - Students will learn to recognize FEELINGS and EMOTIONS in themselves and others. - Students will learn the benefits of FEELINGS and EMOTION check-ins. - How to identify EMOTIONS when they are happening simultaneously.
Students may need the following supplies with them in class: - coloring utensils - scissor - glue - pencil
