In this ongoing class we will talk about how to make friends, talking and listening and understanding social cues. Young learners often struggle with knowing what to say and the confidence to say it, once they learn. In this class we will go over these topics and practice. On occasion, the class will have print- outs and activities for learners to do outside of class. It is not required for the lesson, however, it will benefit and solidify their new knowledge. Like any other skill, the more the more it is practiced the more proficient they will become. Social skills is an evolving technique and varies with each child. This class will provide the building blocks they need to continuously expand on their newfound skills. The class will restart every 18 weeks, but it is an ongoing so feel free to come and go as you see fit! Week of March 13 What are social skills?
