"Social Scenarios for School"
Class experience
In this class, one-time for 60 minutes, learners to explore 25 social scenarios that relates to social situations at school. Social skill awareness help learners interpret social interactions between others and themselves as they navigate through facts and opinions. I present each scenario in isolation using pictures and other graphics to engage learners by asking them to take turns reading aloud at least twice to increase reading skills. The learning goal for this class is to strengthen analytical thinking skills. Social scenarios are a great way for the learner to quickly identify cause and effect relationships by understanding what might happen. Learners will use analytical skills for their ability to deconstruct information into smaller categories to help draw conclusions for social scenarios. I will use analytical skills that includes logical reasoning, critical thinking, and communication scenarios.
The social scenarios in this class are grade level appropriate situations that happens in a school day or within the school year.
