I have my associate's degree in special education and am passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Every autistic person is different so it is important to add that, aside from my own experience as an autistic adult, I have worked with over 500 autistic children, both in-person and online; all of whom are in different places on the spectrum and have unique strengths and challenges.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students do not need to have an official diagnosis to join. However, I do ask that they are aware of being autistic or aware of the possibility of being autistic. If you need help explaining autism to your student, check out my "What is Autism?" class which is available for ages 4-7, 8-12, and 13-18.
