Class Experience
This class is intended for students with disabilities, especially those that may use a device for communication, use short phrases, or other forms of communication. We will practice colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and ask and answer questions while playing games with each other. Each month will have a different theme and will be posted on Sunday evening. We will start with a short review of the theme of the week and then play some games together. Games will include Guess Who, Bingo, and...
Students will practice colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and social skills with other students.
I am a former Special Education teacher with experience teaching students with moderate to severe disabilities. I enjoy seeing the connections students can make with the material and with each other.
Bingo boards will be posted in the classroom each week. You may print it in color or black/white. You will want a pencil or something to mark the Bingo board. We will use the back of the Bingo board to complete the math game and for I Spy Alphabet.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
