Class Experience

This class will be a fun and interactive learning experience specifically designed with the "tween" in mind. Navigating the social situations that arise in this time of life, building positive self-esteem, increasing friendship skills, making good decisions, applying the concepts of growth mindset...the stress to get it all together overwhelms children sometimes. This summer camp will spend one day of the week taking a deep dive into each of the following:

Self-awareness
What am I thinking? How am I acting? Why?

Tuesday:
Self-management
Coping strategies, mindfulness, levels of problems

Wednesday:
Responsible decision making
Using graphic organizers to help guide, peer pressure

Thursday:

Theory of mind, actions affect those around us, social and facial cues

Friday:
