Class Experience
1. This class focuses on Social-Emotional Skills for Preschool aged students. 2. Each week, a new topic will be introduced and explored with the class. 3. All classes will start with a welcome from the teacher and a welcome song authored by the teacher. 4. I teach using a digital whiteboard, meaningful graphics, puppets, songs, and fingerplays. 5. Goal 1 - Develop self-awareness and self-management skills to achieve school and life success. Goal 2 - Use social-awareness and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships. Goal 3 - Demonstrate decision-making skills and responsible behaviors in personal, school, and community contexts.

There is no homework assigned, but families are encouraged to practice the skills learned for the week.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will share anecdotal notes with the family at the end of class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Because there will be movement activities during class, students should have an open space to participate in gross motor movements. Students are welcome to have a water bottle nearby during class. With students between the ages of three to five, it is suggested that early learners are supervised during class to support participation and safety.
