1. This class focuses on Social-Emotional Skills for Preschool aged students. 2. Each week, a new topic will be introduced and explored with the class. 3. All classes will start with a welcome from the teacher and a welcome song authored by the teacher. 4. I teach using a digital whiteboard, meaningful graphics, puppets, songs, and fingerplays. 5. I believe in a happy classroom where students are encouraged to share their ideas with the class. 6. The class is interactive; we use games, songs, fingerplays, and discussion. Students will talk to one another and the teacher throughout the class. 7. Students do not need any experience or background knowledge to be successful in this class. Week 1: Welcoming Week 2: Listening Week 3: Focusing Attention Week 4: Self-Talk Week 5: Following Directions Week 6: Asking for What You Need or Want

Parental Guidance
Because there will be movement activities during class, students should have an open space to participate in gross motor movements. Students are welcome to have a water bottle nearby during class. With students between the ages of three to five, it is suggested that early learners are supervised during class to support participation and safety.
