In this ongoing class, students will come together to socialize and do what they love ...play Minecraft (in creative mode). Student will be given a challenge to build as a group (or by themselves) and have a certain amount of time to build.

Building Challenge: In this ongoing class, students will come together to socialize and play what they love ... Minecraft. Yes we will be playing Minecraft!!! Each ongoing class there will be a challenge given by the teacher (some challenges may include...build a house, school, castle, library...ect). Students will be invited into my world if they are on BEDROCK and they NEED to be connected to their Microsoft account. Students will need to send me a Private Message leaving their gamertag. Please do this PREVIOUS of class. Students will be given a certain amount of time to create their challenge piece. Once the time is up we will show off our creations. This is for bedrock edition users who are able to connect with other bedrock users (some bedrock users cannot connect with other due to settings or not being online in which student will build by themselves). For my java edition user you may also join in the fun but there is not an IP address for this class. Students who use java edition will have to build on their own for this challenge. Rules for the class: *Have Minecraft loaded and ready to go for class *Check your setting to make sure you can join bedrock *Make sure you are logged into your Microsoft account *No using TNT *No spreading lava around *No spawning in excessive amounts of anything (no more that 3) *No commands will be given *No breaking or destroying of others creations ***If the rules are broken the world will be shut down and the enrolled learners will have to create on their own. This is not only a fun challenge but also a communication/listening and socialization class. All rules will discuss at the beginning of each class. Please try to stay unmuted so you can socialize I have designed this class for student to be able to relax, have fun, and socialize with others who have a the same passion! Please know and share whether you are using the Bedrock Edition or Java Edition If you are a Nintendo Switch user it is difficult connecting please be prepared (YouTube) how to connect with a bedrock edition (me). ***Please note if learners cannot connect with each other they will build the challenge on their own. We will try to connect up to 3 times then the learner will be asked to build on their own (own world).

In this ongoing class, students will be learning to use their communication skills, listening skills, socialization skills, and build their team work skills all while doing something they are passionate about...Minecraft

Parental Guidance
You student will need to share their gaming tag with PREVIOUS of class in a Private Message.
Supply List
You will need to be on the device you play Minecraft. I am hoping there will be students who will be on the same device they use for class too...this will help when we are sharing our challenge creation. I do understand some devices do not have assess to the Outschool website where you would log into our class which is completely fine!!!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been playing Minecraft (Bedrock edition) for a little while now. I have a few very popular Minecraft classes. In most class at least one student (and one parent) have asked if they will be playing Minecraft or if I would create a Minecraft class where we can actually play. Which has lead me here to create a Minecraft Challenge class.
Rules for the class:
*Have Minecraft loaded and ready to go for class
*Check your setting to make sure you can join bedrock
*Make sure you are logged into your Microsoft account
*No using TNT
*No spreading lava around
*No spawning in excessive amounts of anything (no more that 3)
*No commands will be given
