Class Experience
What is your favorite toy? What do you like to do for fun? Come show us! Come tell us! This on-going class is designed for students who may be shy, but would love to share their favorite things from the comfort of their home OR for students who enjoy talking with others! I ask that each student have an item ready to share with the teacher and peers (see the weekly list below). The first couple minutes of the class will be for talking about what we did during the week and for...
This class is taught in English.
In this class, students will work on social skills such as patience, asking questions, using manners, and answering in complete sentences. The teacher will explain the rules at the beginning of every class and demonstrate how to share about the specific item. There will be time during the class for students to ask questions about the different items. Each week of the on-going class has a specific category to help the students work on categorizing and explain why the item fits into the category. It will be interesting to see what items will be brought to class!
In the past, I have taught pre-school, worked with students with special needs, and taught ESL online. I enjoy working with young students and helping them interact with each other!
There is no homework required for this class, but some classes will need some preparing done ahead of time. Keep a lookout in the classroom for updates from Ms. Rebecca.
Bring one or two of your favorite items to share with the class! Each week, the teacher will post specifics in the classroom. Plus, all the weeks are listed in the class description.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Grownups, please be aware of what your child is wanting to share each week. A list can be found in the description of all the weekly themes. **Class sizes are limited to 4 students to allow enough time for each student to share.**
