Class Experience
Students will interact with others in a respectful manner, develop the sense of community, and discuss topics they are concerned about.
I have been an Elementary Education, Special Education, and school counselor for 30 plus year. I am an avid birder and love to share my passion with students. I feel that having the counseling as well as the academic background gives me the ability to help students in many ways. Though I am a former counselor, It is extremely important to know that this class will NOT be therapy! This class is solely a social class anchored in a common denominator - peers who are looking to meet friends for weekly chats on positive topics. This class is in compliance with Outschool’s class content policies related to non-medical symptom management strategies. We will not have direct conversation regarding personal feelings and experiences related to emotions however we will go over topics in general that anyone can apply to their lives to create a positive life path!

No supplies needed. If I have handouts for a topic, I will post in the classroom the Sunday before the class. There will be no "required" items to print.
