Class Experience
Fans of the furry potato, unite! We are here to chat about our favorite little fur potatoes, guinea pigs! In each class, learners will have time to share their actual pets, or pictures of their pets, or tell which kind of guinea pig they would like for a pet! Then, we will discuss the Care Tip of the Day, which will vary from week to week. I will plan these topics in advance based on this schedule, but this can change based on learner questions and requests. Week 1 (week of 6/9):...
Learners will get to talk and share about their guinea pig pets, learn more about appropriate care, and have a chance to ask questions of an experienced guinea pig parent!
I have been a proud guinea pig parent for the last eight years, and my content is endorsed by the Knoxville Guinea Pig Rescue group.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
If the student will be interacting with their own guinea pig, I request a parent be present for the animal’s safety.
