Class Experience

In each class, the teacher will present the current events that happened in the world of business finance recently. The events will be curated and age appropriate focused on creating educational and engaging conversations for students. The teacher will open up the discussion for the students to present their views, discuss their investing ideas, and ask questions about business topics that they may not fully understand.

This club will explore current events related to business finance - U.S. and international. Topics will vary week by week, depending on the headlines in the news. At every club meeting, we will cover:
- This week in finance history
- Vocabulary words (e.g., what is a sector, what is a SPAC)
- Companies going public this month. What does 'going public' mean?
- Impact of business news on specific companies
