Description

Class Experience

Students will share their opinion and work to become advocates for not only themselves but of social change!
I have a MAT in Elementary Education and believe that it is a priority for students to learn to become not only advocates for themselves, but for those around them. I will present information using facts and evidence using an unbiased perspective.
After our first live class meeting, students will create an individual project to share their idea for social change.
I will supply all resources and tools for students to explore areas of social change on their computers.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
With the nature of social change, some topics that students may select may be politically sensitive topics.
