Description
Class Experience
This is a social camp for autistic youth and lead by an autistic adult. This camp is designed to be a chance for students to socialize with other autistic students, as such the class will be largely child lead and the conversations will vary based on leaner interests. I will guide the conversation and provide topics and games if the children need help keeping the conversation fun and interesting. I have worked as community support worker for autistic tweens and teens and I have my associates degree in special education.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 5 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
