We will read and discuss a national soccer team's history, dive into some of the positions and players, analyze the overall situation, and thoroughly chat about some of our favorite soccer teams. In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills. - Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of a soccer team and be able to express their analysis of the team. - Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the soccer.
I have played, coached, and now analyzed football for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different football teams in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, MLS, and Liga MX.
