Class Experience
During this ongoing summer class, students will work on math skills that they will be exposed to in second grade. This session will give students the opportunity for review/extra practice of first grade skills, as well as be introduced to new second grade math skills. This class is taught in English.
Students will become confident second grade math students, through practice of math concepts they will need at this grade level. -number sense and place value -using place value charts -measurement using virtual rulers -geometry and 3 dimensional shape identification -finding missing values in addition and subtraction equations -money (coin and dollar) identification and how much money do we need problems
