This 9 week, flexible schedule class will cover the first quarter of 6th grade math skills.
Class Experience
US Grade 6th grade
This flexible class is designed to cover Texas and national standards for 6th grade.
Week 1: Real Number System
Converting fractions to decimals
Week 2: Converting between mixed numbers and improper fractions
Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Greatest Common Factor (GCF)
Weeks 3 & 4: Equivalent Forms of Fractions, Decimals, and Percents
Weeks 5 & 6: Compare and Order Rational Numbers
Weeks 7: Operations with Fractions
Week 8: Operations with Decimals
Week 9:...Students will learn the first semester of 6th grade skills and be prepared for the second semester.

A variety of activities and printables will be provided to students to practice skills.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed using submitted work. Occasional quizzes will also be posted in the classroom.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
