Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will strengthen reading, phonics and writing skills based on individual needs.
I have been teaching Early Childhood for the past 7 years. I taught Pre-K (Children ages 3-5) for 3 years. I have taught First Grade for 4 years. Additionally, I have 2 years of online teaching experience. I try to make our online learning fun, engaging and educational!
After our session, I will send out additional resources for your student to continue to practice at home. I encourage daily reading practice, especially for those early, emergent readers, as well as writing practice. If you would like to book an additional tutoring class with me to work on the same or new material, please feel free to do so!
After booking the class, please send me a message letting me know what 2 skill areas your learner would like to strengthen. I ask that you allow 24 hours or more prior to the start of our class time to ensure I am able to provide adequate activities and resources catered to your learners exact needs. Additional Material include: a pencil, paper or white board.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be assessed informally throughout the lesson. Additionally, I am happy to answer any questions a parent may have based on my observations in class. Parents may use the word list and rhyming books/materials to also assess their learner at home.
