Description

Class Experience

This flex class includes weekly recorded sessions (Youtube), interactive communication and assessment (using Outschool's classroom and Nearpod.com) and assignments. 

Mrs. Alyx is a CFP professional and Financial Advisor who has taught money and finance classes from preschool to College level. Using interactive visuals and questions, learners will bring their own experiences to class. This class is suitable for learners from anywhere in the world, and no previous money experience is required....

How to create a realistic financial goal and a visual financial milestone plan. Over 4 weeks, learners will share their plans in progress, at each stage, for questions from peers and review and feedback from the teacher.

Learners will complete assignments on their own and upload to the class page, share in the class Google slide document, do interactive assignments in Nearpod, and send directly to the teacher. Learners receive a PDF workbook for their use, with examples and highlights of the class.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Google Slides
Youtube
Nearpod

Learners are assessed by completing weekly assignments and sharing in the Outschool classroom and Google Slide document for feedback and review.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
