Join Mrs. Alyx - a CFP professional and Financial Advisor - who has taught money and finance classes from preschool to College level! This one-time class is an introduction to the concept of creating a financial goal. As a Canadian CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, "Mrs. Alyx" (Alexandra (Alyx) Valdal) is passionate about financial literacy for the next generation! Teaching kids about money is so important for establishing good habits and understanding that money is just a tool to be used. Mrs. Alyx has lived and taught different subjects in Canada, England, and Japan. She has taught learners from age 2 to 72 from preschool to college courses and loves engaging with excited students. In her Outschool classes, Mrs. Alyx helps learners reflect on their own money values through talking about needs and wants and how money can work in our lives, now and in the future.
This class uses screenshare and optional learner self-directed Nearpod use (Nearpod.com). Youtube videos will be shared - in class and as an additional resource via the Outschool classroom. No accounts are required, for either resource.
