Does your learner know how much things cost or how to make a plan to buy something? Join Mrs. Alyx - a CFP professional and Financial Advisor - who has taught money and finance classes from preschool to College level! This one-time class is an introduction to the concept of creating a financial goal. We will review needs vs. wants, the history of money, the skills needed for money management money and creating a plan for saving. We will use buying a first pet as just one example. Phew! It's a lot to cover, but using learners' own experiences and sample financial goals and plans will help us with this task! Classes are small, to enable high interaction with learners and the teacher. This class is appropriate for 6-8 year-olds. Creating a financial goal will be easier for learners who have experience with money (either spending, earning, or having it). A PDF workbook is included for use after class. * This class is taught in Pacific Time Zone (PST) and will have sessions offered in June/July 2024. Please feel free to request your preferred time!
