Description

Class Experience

- ways to make the most of a college visit
- early vs. regular admissions deadlines
- types of standardized testing
- factors to consider when choosing a college
- college admissions timelines
- ways to stay organized during the process
- an overview of essay topics
There won't be assigned homework, but students will receive handouts they can use at home to help them brainstorm their preferences, essay ideas, etc.
 1 file available upon enrollment
A handout will be provided prior to the first session. Students do not need to fill it out for the class, but may find it helpful afterward.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No assessment needed
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
