In this 8-week class, students will learn the basics of stage acting - how to be seen, heard, create characters, and impress your director.

Class Experience

Students in this class will be challenged and encouraged by an experienced actor/director/producer to learn the basics of acting (with a sprinkling of more challenging advanced techniques).  In addition to learning the basics, students will select a monologue and learn how the professionals break it down.  This class will culminate in students learning how to make bold choices in an audition situation using a duet partner scene.

Students will learn the basics of acting including (but not limited to) cheating out, projection, entrances and exits, how to create dynamic characters, stage directions, and scene work.

I have been teaching acting for over 25 years and have owned a children's theatre for 15 years!  I love developing sharing my passion and helping kids to develop confidence and a passion for performing arts!
