In this class the student will learn how to hold scissors properly. We will discuss scissor safety. Students will have a worksheet to practice cutting with scissors. We will discuss glue sticks and how to properly put glue on paper. The students will be able to practice using a glue stick. I believe learning should be fun in order to retain information. Students will learn to hold scissors properly. They will learn the safety rules for using scissors. They will learn how to cut with scissors. They will also learn the proper way to apply glue using glue sticks.
There will be no homework.
1 file available upon enrollmentPlease provide the worksheet, child safety scissors, and a glue stick. Please provide a piece of paper to glue items onto and also crayons and a pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
