Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this 4 lesson directed painting Self Paced class learners will create a different acrylic during painting each lesson step-by-step along with Miss Jennie. This is a SELF PACED class - which means there are NO LIVE CLASSES. Instructional videos will be posted for your learner to watch and paint along to, as well as optional classroom discussion. Students will be expected to also post photos of the work they have completed. The more your learner participates the more value they will get...

Learners will learn acrylic painting skills & techniques each week while following along to step-by-step guided video lessons.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, as well as an Associates degree in Digital Photography & a Certificate in Digital Design. My professional career has been in the graphic design & photography fields. My personal life includes many creative hobbies & pursuits, including drawing, painting, jewelry making, cross stitch, crochet & book making.
Homework Offered
Learners will finish a painting each week, as well as participate in classroom discussions with peers & the instructor.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

* A canvas, canvas board, or multi-media paper (able to handle acrylic paint) to paint on each week * Acrylic paints in a variety of colors (I use Arteza: https://amzn.to/3Ei33O7 ) * Several sizes of paint brushes * A cup of water for rinsing your brushes * A paint palette or paper plate * Rag or paper towels * Clothes that can get messy or an apron/large shirt to protect clothing from any art supplies used * A hair dryer is recommended to speed up paint drying time
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
A hair dryer is recommended for this class to speed up the drying time of paint for some projects. By signing their learners up for this class guardians are giving their approval for their learners to use a hair dryer for this class.
