In my interactive but structured circle time, I will teach, Social Skills: * Waiting our turn * Raising our hand * Respecting ourselves, teacher and others Language Fluency: * Sing “Snowy Pokey”, “I’m A Little Mitten” * Listen to the poem “Five Little Snowmen”, “ABC Snowman Chant” * Play a letter recognition game Math Fluency: * Count the winter items * Predict the next winter item * Discuss the sizes of different snowmen using small, medium and large Science: * Explore cold and hot * Explore freezing * Explore the attributes snow using cold, wet, white Self-Awareness: * Explore feelings as we listen to an interactive story about cooperation, sharing and caring Discussion: * Our favorite winter activities I will teach these subjects through stories, rhymes, songs, and science discussions. Books we will read are: “The Mitten” by Jan Brett “The Itsy Bitsy Snowman” by Jeffery Burton “What Can You See in Winter” by Sian Smith “The Biggest Snowman Ever” by Steven Kroll “The Snowy Day” by Ezra Jack Keats “Sneezy the Snowman” by Maureen Wright Your preschooler will only needs to bring their love for learning!

I have taught preschool in the classroom for 10 years. I have been a Girl Scout leader for 15 years. I have homeschooled my own children. And lastly, I have been a Sunday school teacher for K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades for 18 years.
