Class Experience


Snap Circuits are a great way to introduce learners to electrical circuits. Kits contain robust and varied circuit components which snap together to create different types of circuits. 

In this ongoing class, we will be learning all about electrical circuits. We will learn how they work and why, and we will be learning all the terminology that goes along with all the parts of creating an electrical circuit - open and closed circuits, resistors and resistance, voltage, series. Hello! I am really looking forward to adventuring with your learners here on Outschool! I have a background in Montessori, Reggio and child-led education approaches, and have taught entrepreneurship and leadership skills to teens.

I totally believe that an engaged learner is one who learns best. I'm a former Montessori headteacher and current mum to 2 amazing children who are homeschooled using a wonderful mix of approaches to learning - because every child is different, and no child fits in a one-size-fits-all box. This is why I'm excited to teach a variety of approaches to learning in my classes on Outschool.

I also have an International Marketing Management degree, have been an entrepreneur for 15 years with a 6-figure business, and I'm a Gallup Strengths and Life Design coach and mentor for tweens and teens, as well as entrepreneurs.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
