In this class the students will get to learn amazing facts about snakes and reptiles as well as work on literacy skills and have some fun. The class will start by reading a non fiction children's book. During the story I will stop to ask questions and give students a chance to interact with each other. When the book is over the students will work on filling out their own Venn diagrams, which parents will be able to download from the class. Finally to end the class students will get a...
Students will learn information about snakes and reptiles. Students will be able to compare and contrast different types of snake with each other or with reptiles. Students will work on their writing skills as well as their social and speaking skills.
I am a certified K-6 teacher with a masters degree in Teaching and Learning.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will be informally assessed by looking over their Venn diagrams and listening to their answers and conversations.
