Snakes and Reptiles: A reading Adventure!
In this class students will listen to a non fiction book about snakes and reptiles as well as focus on comparing and contrasting.

In this class the students will get to learn amazing facts about snakes and reptiles as well as work on literacy skills and have some fun. The class will start by reading a non fiction children's book. During the story I will stop to ask questions and give students a chance to interact with each other. When the book is over the students will work on filling out their own Venn diagrams, which parents will be able to download from the class. Finally to end the class students will get a chance to draw their favorite snake or reptile from the book, then share with the class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn information about snakes and reptiles. Students will be able to compare and contrast different types of snake with each other or with reptiles. Students will work on their writing skills as well as their social and speaking skills.
