Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I was born to teach! My teaching career started when I rounded up the neighborhood kids one summer at age ten and opened my own school. I have been teaching ever since. I have many developed classes, but my favorites are cooking, art, music, sewing, and writing. I am passionate about these subjects. I taught as a contracted teacher through recreational departments while finishing my bachelor of arts educational degree and earning my professional educator license. Teaching in the public school system for many years, I enjoyed first through fifth grades and even computers. I believe that the most important part of learning is the interaction between the student and teacher. I have highly interactive classes and I enjoy getting to know the students on a personal level. I am an empty nester with six married children and thirteen grandchildren. I live in the Wasatch Mountains in the summer and in our beach-access home in Puerto Rico in the winter.
