Class Experience

In this on-going class, we will meet twice a week for some fun social time! Each meeting will be as follows:
1. Introductions
2. Ice breaker (would you rather, this or that, share a fun fact)
3. Snack share
4. Talk talk & more talk.
5. Wrap-up

The topics will vary per class depending on learner choice. However I will have a set topic for each class that we can go off of.
Week 1: 2024 Goals
Week 2: Favorite tv shows / Favorite Hobbies
Week 3: Family traditions / Our family
Week 4: Pets / Favorite Animals

This class is meant to be fun for every learner and a safe space where we all respect each other. Everyone will get a chance to share and I will moderate discussions as needed.

Hello, hello!
My name is teacher Adriana and I am so excited to meet you. I received my Professional Educator License with Bilingual Education Teacher - Spanish, Learning Behavior Specialist, English As A Second Language and Elementary Education (Self Contained General Education) Endorsements from Loyola University Chicago in 2017. I was awarded the Special Education Teacher Award from my graduating class. I want to help students be successful not only in the classroom, but in the real world as well. I also strongly believe in the importance of social-emotional learning. Fun fact, I am originally from Honduras, a beautiful country in Central America.
