Description
Class Experience
Put on your "brown" hiking boots, grab your "striped" backpack, and let's explore the "great" Smoky Mountains together as we learn how to describe all the nouns we see there. In this class, your child will enjoy a fun mountain theme while learning all about adjectives. Using colorful slides I've created with fun clip-art, we will explore all the colors, tastes, smells, sounds, textures, and more that we can find in the Smoky Mountains. Kids will play a game of "Guess What's in my Bag?"...
Students will learn that adjectives describe nouns or pronouns. We will focus heavily on descriptive adjectives, also covering comparatives, superlatives, and articles.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
