Description

Class Experience

If your child loves music they will love this camp.  In this camp we will sing, clap, move, and play simple rhythm instruments (all from your kitchen cupboards) all while learning musical concepts such as fast and slow, loud and soft and so much more.  We will sing songs to familiar tunes, that will leave your child singing them all day long.  This camp will be fun, interactive and engaging.  Each day we will learn a different musical concept. If you have rhythmic instruments, that’s great, but if you don’t see the list below: 

Rhythm sticks - wooden spoons or anything you can tap together
Shaker - fill a small container with rice, beans, beads or popcorn kernels
Drum - a pot or plastic container with a round bottom 
Scarf - fashion scarf or dish towel that can wave through the air for movement 
Stuffie - favourite stuffie

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
