Description
Class Experience
We will learn musical concepts through singing, clapping, playing rhythmic instruments and movement. We will learn about how to keep a beat, fast and slow beats and how to stop and start together. We will explore different musical concepts depending on the theme of the lesson. Because this is a private 1:1 lesson, the time can be dedicated to the specific level of the student. If you have rhythm instruments great but if you don’t the following will work just fine: Sticks - wooden spoons Shaker - small container filled with rice, beads or popcorn kernels Drum - a pot or plastic container with a round bottom Scarf - fashion scarf or dish towel that can be waved for movement Stuffie- favourite one
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Movement will be limited to a small space and no dance attire is needed.
