We will discuss the names of each coin, features of each coin, we will also examine each coin and discuss what we observe about each one. We will talk about how much each coin is worth and we will begin counting by ones, fives, tens, and twenty-fives to count change. Toward the end of class, students will be ready to start counting by ones, fives, and possibly...
Students will be able to identify pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, tell the value of each coin, and be able to count by ones and fives to count pennies and nickels.
