Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learners will enjoy fun children's stories. Learners will make connections between their own experiences and that of what occurs in the stories we read. Learners will demonstrate their creativity in creating artwork that relates to the stories that we read. Learners will take pride in their accomplishments.
Materials needed for the craft project will be posted in the classroom prior to the start of class. Materials will generally include items that are typically found around the house: paper plates, crayons/markers, glue stick, paint, construction paper. NOTE: An adult may need to prep an item or two prior to the start of class (cutting out a needed item for a project). Then your learner will only need to assemble the pieces during class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
