This class does not contain live class meetings, therefore work will be completed during the viewing of the recorded class instruction. Learners may need additional time after the recording to finish up class activities. Learners are encouraged to post photos of course work & activities each week. This allows for engagement between teacher and the learners. By posting photos of class activities and/or work, feedback and encouragement can be provided to learners.
During each class recording, learners will need to have various supplies available to participate in the hands on learning activities. The suggested supplies include: paper, crayons, pencil, markers, glue, dry erase board with marker, craft sticks/yarn, shaving cream, or paint with a paintbrush. (**Please supervise or pre-cut the worksheet items for the ease of assembling the activity page during the recording.)
Informal assessment will be provided as photos of class activities or work is posted to the classroom area of the class. This will allow for the teacher and learners to engage in conversation. This also allows for the teacher and classmates to provide positive encouragement and praise for hard work.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
No additional accounts or logins required. The Google Slides interactive games will be used through screen share within the Outschool platform.
