This ongoing class is designed for a small group of students that come together to the class; there is a class minimum of two students.  Often, this means the class is made up of siblings, or friends who are at a similar level so that I can personalize the class to focus precisely on the goals they have as writers.  The focus can be on building academic skills with sentence structure, grammar, literary analysis, and essay writing, or on developing creative projects in a guided workshop setting.  My aim is to work together with parents and the learners to identify the specific goals students have and then develop classes to achieve them. 

I can help students work towards their goals through personalized lessons, or through interpreting & editing work that students already have. Either way, the goal is to find the most direct and effective method of working with a small group of students to improve their language skills and creative output. 

Considering the small size of the class, I plan times for this class based on schedule requests and collaboration between myself and other students to find the best fit for everyone's schedule.  Although there may be a time slot scheduled for the class, I encourage you to request class times you would like to see if the scheduled time isn't ideal. Hopefully together we can find a perfect time for a perfect class to suit your learners needs!
