Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom; substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level; assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level. I have a bachelor's of education and a master's of American History with a concentration in Native American studies

Homework Offered
Write, write and write! While homework will not be officially assigned, I will be encouraging outside writing. Whether the student is writing for school, writing in a journal, or writing in a comic strip, the practice of writing is crucial. 

If we do not complete an assignment in class, it may be offered as homework. This will be up to the parent/student as to whether or not it is completed outside the class time. For returning students, I will grade papers re-submitted to me, if the parent/student so desires.
