ABOUT THE ROYAL CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC CERTIFICATE PROGRAM The Royal Conservatory Certificate Program is a comprehensive system of music study and assessment from Elementary through to Advanced levels. In many countries, it is considered the gold standard for developing high-calibre musical literacy. Examinations (online and in person options) are available to students beginning at the Preparatory Level and evaluate the performance of repertoire, aural skills and sight singing....

WHAT DO YOU TEACH? Sarah teaches private 1:1 voice lessons for beginner through advanced / professional singers and group singing classes starting at the beginning level. PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND Sarah is a professional Classical and Musical Theatre Singer having performed throughout the North America, Asia and Europe. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy along with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. Sarah has been teaching private and group lessons for over 20 years in the Chicago area. Sarah was a Teaching Artist for the Lyric Opera of Chicago and worked with children to help them write and perform their own operas. Additionally, she is a member of The Royal Conservatory's College of Examiners and examines singers throughout the United States and Canada. VALUES Sarah teaches with a gentle approach while holding high standards of her students. She helps students focus on the process of learning how to sing so that singers are confident in themselves and their abilities. ABOUT SARAH Sarah has a little boy (6) and a dog named Elsa who was named after a character in Wagnerian opera! Her husband is a guitar luthier (someone who makes guitars and guitar amplifiers).
