In this one time tutoring session, students will be able to go over topics that they need to be successful in their math classes. The area of focus during class is based on math topic being covered in 7th - 12th grade mathematics.

Welcome!! This class is a tutoring session for any student who needs help or desires extra practice with their math skills in 7th - 12th. In this session I can cover any topics that the students or families choose from their curriculum. Please email me a copy or picture of homework problems, practice tests, or any material that you would like to learn after enrollment (or as soon as possible) so I can prepare materials for our session. Also, please inform me of any background information that would be helpful as well. I have taught math for 18 years in fun and interactive ways with much success. Though my approach can be characterized as energetic and engaging, the structure and detail of the class guarantees students will be presented knowledge in a way that cultivates mastery. Some of the students I have tutored have actually become engineers and math teacher themselves. Student learning is my passion, and I truly believe math can be mastered in a fun environment. Hello! My name is Brian. Thank you for stopping by my Outschool page!! I’m excited about the opportunity to teach your child mathematics. I graduated with my degree in Secondary Mathematics Education in 2005 and have been a teacher for over 15 years. I taught high school math in Ohio for 10 years, middle school math in Washington D.C. for 2 years, and have been teaching English online for the last 3 years. I’ve also developed online materials for schools to help students pass the math portion of their state graduation tests and I’ve worked as a tutor and mentor.
The majority of my courses in Outschool will be focused around high school mathematics (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, etc…). I will break down these courses topic by topic, so that you could learn the entire class from me!
Teaching mathematics is my passion and I look forward to helping your learner develop a passion for mathematics as well!
