Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will have their reading comprehension skills strengthen while gaining greater confidence in their ability to read independently, as well as, in group settings.
I have had the wonderful privilege of teaching/ tutoring students in the area of reading comprehension. I have taught students of all ages, grade levels, and academic skill levels, both online and in regular classroom settings. I love the challenge of making reading fun, animated, engaging, and exciting, as it makes students want to learn. I truly have a passion for teaching, and I love to see my students thrive in academics. What a wonderful privilege it is to be a part of your child's academic success and progress.

Additional Education Credentials: I have two Master's degrees through Liberty University in the areas of Counseling/ Human Services and an M.Ed. in Education.
I will ask the students to read a virtual book each week from their virtual library ( that I will assign to them) and complete a short quiz at the end. Login information and access instructions will be given at a later time.
Students will need a copy of the book we will be reading in class, a notebook and a writing utensil. * The ability to print out homework worksheets.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
