Class Experience
This session will be student and/or parent driven. I will be happy to create and work on any reading, writing, or vocabulary skills needed or assist on current homework assigned in the classroom.
I teach 7th grade Language Arts, but I certified to teach 5-12 Language Arts. In my current position, I also co-teach with our 8th grade Language Arts teacher and our 5-8 ELA teachers team together often. I am definitely certified to assist/tutor students in this content area.
We will do our best to finish everything in our scheduled session, but there may be times\ when students need to wrap something up on their own.
Students will need a paper and pencil for sure. The supply list could change depending on the needs of each individual student. I will reach out to each family student needs if necessary.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I may be using Google Docs, Google Slides, and Youtube videos in our scheduled sessions. Theses will be used in a screen-share format to present information for lessons on skills we will be working on. Students will not be required to have accounts to view or have access to this information. I will always be happy to share any information I plan to use before scheduled sessions.
As of right now, I have no knowledge of any websites that will be needed or used..
