US Grade 4 - 6
My approach to teaching is to develop fun, engaging and memorable experiences for children. We learn better when we have a memorable experience that we can remember even after the class is over. This course will teach your child the beginning strategies of reading. This will include: -Letter identification -Letter sounds -Sight words -comprehension strategies In this class, I will use a slide show to present the lesson and ask the students engaging questions while we work through it....
Homework Offered
I will provide optional homework for students to practice their skills at home. This homework will be provided electronically and will provide feedback as well. This tool is free to use and will keep track of progress. Once fully enrolled sign in credentials will be provided. If your child is in a different level of reading, either behind or above, just send me a message so I can provided the correct curriculum for them outside of class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There will be a google form the student can fill out after class to see what they learned! This is optional but a fun way to test yourself!Grades Offered
