During "Slow Down & Stretch", students will be led through a variety of flexibility-improving stretches, including large and small muscle groups. This is an ongoing course that students are welcome to join weekly, learning new and interesting stretches with an ever-rotating group of peers. Students can join the class at any point--classes do not build upon each other; classes stand alone, so students are able to join or leave at any time without needing additional information. I am offering "Slow Down & Stretch" so that students can gather together in a nurturing environment to engage with fun flexibility improvement activities and diverse people. My expertise in physical education and health makes me an excellent leader for this class.
Safety requirements for a successful physical education class: -A clear space in which to move freely -Comfortable clothing suitable for working out, including appropriate closed-toe footwear -Water for hydration throughout class Optional: -An exercise mat (class can easily be accomplished without it)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
