Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, Welcome to my classroom. I'm Ms. Deana and I have been a teacher since 2004. I have taught a wide range of subjects and ages. Most of my years teaching have been instructing full curriculum for pre-school-3rd grade. I also teach 5th-8th grade Math as a substitute teacher at a public middle school.
Getting my students excited and inspired to learn is a passion. I believe that all students hold the capacity to learn and achieve greatness. It is up to the teacher to make the lessons fun and engaging to reach all types learners and be adaptive to the needs of each student.
I have an amazing, fun, high-energy, son who was diagnosed with ADHD, Behavioral Disorder, and SPD at the age of 3. He has helped me grow as a person and an educator to be more understanding and adaptable within my classrooms to ensure that all students, no matter their abilities, are engaged and successful.
My son has inspired me to pursue a degree in special education so I can help students like him be better understood.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me a message. I will respond within 24 hour with a reply.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my classroom and I look forward to seeing you in class.
